MeetNY (Powered by Cisco WebEx)

A MeetNY meeting is an online meeting that allows you to virtually meet with other people, without leaving your office or home. MeetNY has been licensed by NYS Information Technology Services so that you can conduct and participate in web-based desktop conferencing, commonly referred to as "webinars." MeetNY allows users to collaborate on documents online, and includes chat and video services.

How does it work?

MeetNY software is delivered over the web as you need it. The first time you attend a meeting, MeetNY will automatically download for you.

You can use MeetNY from any computer with an internet connection, and from most smartphones and tablets. For details, see MeetNY Apps for Smartphones.

You can schedule a MeetNY meeting ahead of time, or start one spontaneously as needed.

If you use MeetNY to invite someone to a meeting, they will receive an email that allows them to attend. Attendees don't have to have a MeetNY account. Your invitation includes a link they can click to join you online as well the password needed to access the meeting.

During your meeting, you can video conference, share content or just have a discussion.
