VDI users must use PrinterLogic to print.

Verify That PrinterLogic Is Installed On My Computer
  1. Click on the Microsoft Start button located in the lower left hand side of your screen.
  2. Find Printer Installer in the list of All Programs.  If available, PrinterLogic is installed on your computer.

Install a Printer Using PrinterLogic
  1. Logon to VDI (or your PC/laptop). Click on the Microsoft Start button located in the lower left hand side of your screen.
  2. Select All Programs and click Printer Installer from the list. Select Add Printer. This will open the Printer Installer Web page. This will also let you add new printers if you're already using PrinterLogic.
  3. Browse the left navigation pane to find the location (building and floor) of your desired printer. Note that in most cases you will be automatically brought to your current physical location. Use the map to identify the printers near your office/desk.
  4. To install your desired printer, hover over the desired printer on the map and click Install Printer. If you want this printer to be your default system printer, place a check in the box Set as default printer.
  5. Click Yes to confirm installation of your printer
  6. A dialog box will appear in the upper left corner of your screen indicating the printer installation. When complete, click the OK button to close the installation wizard.
  7. Repeat steps 1-6 to install additional printers.

Network Printing How To's

Use this option to connect to a printer on the network, not using PrinterLogic.

Select a Default Printer
  1. Click on the Microsoft Start button located in the lower left hand side of your screen.
  2. Click Control Panel to adjust your computer settings.
  3. Click Devices and Printers.
  4. Locate the printer you want to use as your default printer. Right click on it to select and click Set as default printer.
  5. Click on the red "X" located in the upper right-hand corner of the Devices and Printers menu to close.

How do I find my printer locations?

You can access the floor map of printer locations near you by clicking the Start button on your desktop screen and entering "Printer" into the Search. Click "Add Printer". A floor map of authorized printers will pop-up on your screen. Click on any printer you would like to install.
