Meet Alexandra Doggette | Executive Assistant

"On any given day I could be managing the executive calendars, coordinating speaking engagements, booking travel or working on other important projects." In the latest video in the "Who is ITS?" series, Alexandra Doggette, Executive Assistant, talks about how she provides invaluable support to ITS leaders, keeping busy executives on track and facilitating their outreach and activities on behalf of the agency. Outside of work, Alexandra loves to travel and support the arts, especially the theater, in the Capital Region.

“Whatever we get asked to do, we all step up, knowing we give our best to ITS so that ITS can give its best to New Yorkers.” Caine Martin, the Executive Support Staff Manager for the tech support team, is always willing to roll up his sleeves and make sure computer services work as they should. From delivering computer hardware to ensuring critical meetings run smoothly, Caine and his team will do it all with a smile!

“From printers, to phones, to web applications, and even robot dogs, it’s up to me and my team to ensure that everything related to technology is protected securely, operating properly and being supported appropriately.” Mike Allen, Deputy Commissioner for Technology, shares how he and his team provide technology solutions for the NYSDOL.

“Cybersecurity is one of the most critical aspects of technology that organizations and individuals face today.” Claudia Fisher, Executive Director of Security Shared Services, talks about how she and her team keep New York secure, 24/7/365. Through collaboration and shared expertise, the CISO team consistently keeps bad actors at bay and strengthens the cyber posture of New York.

“Reliable maps and databases are crucial to getting New Yorkers the services they need.” Lis DeGironimo, the State Geographic Information Officer, and Director of Geospatial Services at ITS, shares how her team generates important mapping data that is used by hundreds of State applications, allowing New Yorkers to better understand their communities.

“More than 35 years after the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act, digital accessibility is critical to all New Yorkers using our online services.” Michele Bruno, ITS Digital Accessibility Team Lead, shares how she and her team improve the user experience on digital platforms throughout the state. State services should be available and accessible to all New Yorkers, and Michele and her team work hard to make #a11y a reality.
